He is known for his storytelling, his constant use of the phrase “Hey!” and his ever-present blue plastic cup, which his mother sent him while he was stationed in Vietnam. Si is kind of like the Kramer of Duck Dynasty. He works at Duck Commander, making the reeds that go into every duck call. Si is Phil’s youngest brother, a Vietnam War veteran, and married to Christine (who isn’t featured on the show). Silas Merritt “Si” Robertson (born June 3, 1948) Miss Kay speaks and acts like a true southern lady. (The meal setting is featured at the end of each episode, with Phil praying beforehand and Willie talking about the events of the episode). She loves cooking, so always has her entire family over for a home-cooked meal after a hard day’s work. She is the mother of Alan (who is not featured on the show), Jase, Willie, and Jep. Miss Kay is Phil’s wife, they married young when she was just 16. Marsha Kay “Miss Kay” Robertson (born December 21, 1950) See Phil’s complete biography here: Phil Robertson – Cast Bio Phil is known for his dislike of modern technology (he proudly admits that he does not own a cellphone or a computer). He turned it down and quit football because it interfered with duck season. He played college football at Louisiana Tech University, starting ahead of Hall-of-Famer Terry Bradshaw, and was drafted by the NFL after his junior year by the Washington Redskins. In one of the episodes you can see the shed on Robertson land where Phil created the first duck call. He created the Duck Commander duck call in 1972, and incorporated the Duck Commander Company in 1973. Phil is the patriarch of the Robertson family – and my personal favorite cast member.

And while waiting, head to our 2022 TV premiere schedule to see what other new and returning shows are on the way soon.Phil Alexander Robertson (born April 24, 1946) The latter is also presumably still in the process of turning her YA novel Life Just Got Real into a scripted series, which possibly ties into why she may not be involved in the new show.įor now, Fox Nation is prepping for Duck Family Treasure to kick off its ten-episode season starting in June 2022, so get ready for that. Meanwhile, Sadie Robertson survived both FluRona and a rat infection, and is still going strong with her own WHOA That’s Good pod series. Speaking of podcasts, Phil and Jase have their own through Blaze Media called Unashamed with Phil & Jase Robertson, though it’s unclear if the new show will affect that run or not.

He also went on to appear on Fox’s The Masked Singer last year, where he talked to CinemaBlend about starting up a YouTube channel and how his growing family took priority over TV work for a while. The Fox Nation tie-in also makes sense due to Willie Robertson having a podcast going for Fox News for a while around the time of Duck Dynasty’s final season. We’re proud to offer this original one-of-a-kind show in addition to our already extensive library of lifestyle and entertainment content.

Since adding the coveted Duck Dynasty series to our platform in 2020, the response from our subscribers proved they were in the market for more. And you can bet they’ll be learning some important life lessons along the way as well. Especially if there are cool looking maps involved.Īs Jase, Jep and Uncle Si go from destination to destination, they won’t just be seeking treasures, but will also be shining a spotlight on the cities and town they travel through, as well as the people who live there. I’m guessing it won’t be anything on the scale of “a diamond necklace buried beneath the Titanic’s wreckage,” but it should still be fun to see what they’re trying to track down. (So it’s basically the kind of show that every 5-to-10-year-old would bend over backwards to be part of.) For each episode, the fam and historian will seek out hidden treasures, valuable artifacts and much more, though the announcement is keeping things vague on that front as far as what they’ll be seeking.

Duck Family Treasure will essentially follow along with the foursome of Jase, Jep And Uncle Si Robertson, along with history expert Murray Crowe, as they try to hunt down buried treasure.
